SWPM Instructors and Mentor

The mentor and instructors are practitioners themselves and will provide "real world" information that is immediately applicable in the workplace. The instructors are available to students as a resource for questions and for more in-depth study and discussion.

How Students will interact with the Instructors and Mentor

Online students will study the instructor's well-designed, comprehensive topic presentation in the online course which includes videotaped clips of the instructor, and related artifacts. The mentor will be the student's guide for the course and will work closely with students via email and in the weekly conference calls.

On-site students will attend weekly face-to-face lectures with an instructor. They will also work closely with the mentor in the classroom, via email and in optional weekly conference calls.

The mentor will:

  • Shepherd you through the course by answering any questions you may have about the content of the course or a specific question on the individual exercises or team deliverables
  • Provide feedback on individual exercises and team deliverables that you post online
  • Facilitate the weekly conference call
  • Serve as the curriculum integrator and oversee the academic conduct of the program
