Presentation slides are available on the program page.

Companies are thinking more and more about the impact their products and manufacturing processes have on our world. With information and tools scarce, they are forced to seek elusive solutions for implementing processes and product that provide a smaller environmental footprint. This one-day conference aims to bring into light the best practices, tools, resources, and implementation procedures that make sustainable manufacturing and the process of achieving it both manageable and desirable. Through a mix of a keynote address, panel discussions, and attendee interaction attendees will explore the engineering, financial, and process benefits of sustainable manufacturing. The panel discussions will center on:

  • Profiting from Sustainability
  • Future Drivers for Sustainability
  • Resources & Tools for Implementing Sustainability

Attend Productivity and Sustainability and you will:

  • Examine all parts of the product/process stream to maximize sustainability - including the supply chain, distribution, and maintenance and management practices.
  • Plan for the management of long-range influences on sustainability - including regulatory, energy and raw material availability and substitution, and shifts in technology.
  • Address the implementation of processes and product that provide a smaller environmental footprint.
  • Identify sustainable manufacturing practices and resources.

Who should attend?

  • Electrical/micro-electrical/electronic manufacturers
  • Electrical/micro-electrical/electronic suppliers
  • Other organizations who express a specific interest in the topics

Attendees who are currently involved in sustainable manufacturing and those that are just beginning the process will both benefit from the carefully selected conference topics.
