Abstract
Dr. Michael Webber, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Associate Director of the Center for International Energy and Environmental Policy at the University of Texas at Austin, will share his insights and candid views about the best and worst of US energy practice. His fast-paced and information-packed lectures will include real-world examples, entertaining anecdotes, engineering fundamentals, historical perspectives, and an outlook for the future of energy. Target Audience This course is designed to bring decisionmakers, policymakers, and mid- and senior-level managers up to speed on a breadth of issues that will be valuable for their jobs in any industry or government position that is related to or heavily affected by energy.
Optional Certification
To earn certification, students must: request certification option upon registration; attend 90% of all lectures; and successfully complete a short exam with a score of at least 70%. Study materials will be provided and reviewed during class.

Attendance Policy
A 90% attendance rate is required in order to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and certificates of completion.
|
Cancellation Policy
A full refund, less a $100.00 processing fee, will be given for all cancellations or transfers if notification is received on or before two weeks prior to the beginning of the course. Refunds will not be given for cancellations received after this date. Substitutions may be made anytime prior to the first day of class. The CLEE programs are subject to cancellation if too few people enroll, in which case a full refund will be given.
