Expand knowledge of products and processes Decrease defects and cycle time Improve customer satisfaction Generate business growth and improve profitability Improve communication and teamwork Internalize a common set of tools and techniques
This powerful program will provide participants with the proven Six Sigma tools and techniques, plus practical experience to catapult their organization toward "World Class" status. Emphasis is on gaining knowledge in all aspects of product and process life cycles. Researchers, scientists, engineers, managers and practitioners will benefit from a very practical and applied teaching style that emphasizes a Keep It Simple Statistically (KISS) approach.
Using several in-class exercises, participants will learn how to prioritize, characterize, optimize, and thus, realize return on investment (ROI).
The course is taught in two five-day weeks, separated by at least one month. Students must gain management sponsorship and complete course assignments at their place of business during the break. The assignment will require increasing knowledge of key business issues resulting in better, faster, lower cost products and services. Required resources (including reference texts and software) are provided.
