Alumni On the Move

Devin Morelli (ENM) - Has been promoted to Shift Manager for Diffusion and Implant at Cypress Semiconductors, one of three managers responsible for overall production in the factory for his shift. Devin credits his promotion to the program, noting that this position is usually offered to engineers with over a decade of experience. Devin joined Cypress Semiconductors as an entry level engineer this past January, with no previous semiconductor manufacturing experience. He was offered the new position after earning his MS this summer.


Nikhil Sachdeva (ENM) - Nik was recently offered a new position at Microsoft as Solution Architect for Azure Apps & IoT.

and his wife Sana Saleem are proud to announce the arrival of his son, Sahil Saleem, born on May 23.


Mike Zayour (ENM)

Mike Zayour (ENM) and wife Lemira welcomed Talya on May 23rd. Talya is now five months old.







Brian Soeder, Ph.D. (SWE)

Brian Soeder, Ph.D. (SWE) has clearly been working on a number of projects. Brian and wife Natalie recently welcomed Shane Alexander to their family in May of this year. Brian is pictured here with Natalie and Shane at the May UT Commencement, at which his doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering was awarded. Brian was accepted into the doctoral program after completing the Option III SWE Master's program. Brian is wearing his regalia and Shane is wearing a UT shirt, proving it's never too early to start planning a bright future and big goals!


Chuck Kemakolam (ENM) and his wife Ruby are happy to announce the arrival of baby Sarah on Friday, November 6th. Chuck reports that both mother and baby are doing great.
