Richard Jolly (ENM) has been named Vice President of Operations for a company called Instructus Media, Ltd (San Antonio). Instructus specializes in eLearning products for government and commercial organizations. See the jobs listing in this issue for current postings at Instructus.


Travis Michel (ENM), P.E., has joined the Austin office of Lockwood Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) as Infrastructure Manager, where he will serve the Austin and San Marcos areas. Travis’ expertise includes sanitary sewer design, storm sewer design, waterline design, small bridge design, hydrology, hydraulics, and land development. His services include arterial and collector road design, ADA compliant facilities, storm sewer design, sanitary sewer collection systems, waterline distribution systems, erosion control and bank stabilization.


Susan (Humphrey) Fraser (ENM) has moved back to Austin and is now the Austin Transportation Manager for Lockwood, Andrews, & Newnam, Inc. Welcome back, Susan!


Mark Baum (SWE) has been named Global Software PMO manager at Kongsberg Oil and Gas.


Mason Ward (ENM) ) is now President at 6Fathoms Consulting, LLC. 6Fathoms Consulting specializes in business development and process improvement services for technology and defense sector companies.


Brian Rock (ENM) has returned to Austin from Seattle. Welcome home, Brian. Still with Amazon, Brian notes that the company is hiring locally for several positions. See job postings for more info.

 

Announcements

Mike Zayour (ENM) has a sideline running the Pitalicious food trailer at 1207 S. 1st Street, serving falafel, Hommus, Kafta, Chicken Shawarma, Gyros, and Fries. Can you tell who’s the celeb and who’s the ENM alumni in this photo?



Chris Brissette (ENM) has recently announced a name change following gender reassignment. Chris’s new name will be Renee Brissette in keeping with her new identity. Renee has recently been working as Project Manager at Urban Engineering, providing civil engineering services for Schlitterbahn ’s Waterpark and Resort in Corpus Christi. Diane Flemming (SWE) has just celebrated her 20 year anniversary with IBM. Diane currently works in STG Power Systems Performance.


Steve Gonzales, (SWE) P.E., D.WRE, CFM is celebrating 1 year at LJA Engineering, Inc


Congratulations to Yassin Mobarak (ENM) and his fiancé Karima, who will be getting married in Algeria on May 29th.




Devin Christian Morelli (ENM) and his fiancé Chantel Monique Balch-Oliver are getting married on April 19th. Photos and more info here.


 

New Arrivals

Mark Baum (SWE) and his wife recently welcomed their second child, Thomas Vincent.





Craig Herdman (ENM) and family added another member with new arrival Tatum Jackson Herdman in December 2013.




Priyanka Priya (ENM) and family welcomed a boy, Arihan Sahai on January 2nd, 2013.
