Students are eligible to attend several events celebrating graduation:


Texas Engineering Executive Education Master’s Dinner

The Executive Engineering Master’s Team hosts a dinner for all programs towards the end of the semester to congratulate our graduates.

Cockrell School of Engineering Convocation

The Cockrell School holds a convocation ceremony for all engineering graduates each May and December. Graduates are individually recognized. Texas Engineering Executive Education will provide the Cockrell School with a list of eligible students and their addresses so be sure your contact information is current. The Cockrell School will mail invites to eligible students.

Office of Graduate Studies Convocation

The Graduate School’s Convocation is held each spring semester. Each graduate will have his or her name read aloud, will be hooded, and will walk the stage. Only students who have completed all degree requirements are eligible to participate and register.

University of Texas Commencement

This is a university-wide celebration held on the South Mall at the base of the Tower each spring semester. Diplomas are mailed to your permanent address 4-6 weeks after the official graduation date.
