Course Overview

This one-day condensed course is an overview of Front End Planning - the key process in the capital project life cycle. It is focused on creating a strong, early link between the business or mission need, project strategy, scope, cost, and schedule and maintaining that link unbroken throughout the project life. The Project Definition Rating Index (PDRI) is a risk management tool that, if employed, can significantly improve the front end planning process. The PDRI is a powerful and easy –to-use tool that offers a method to measure project scope definition for completeness. The participants will have an opportunity to use the PDRI in a hypothetical situation.

The distinguished industry expert and the CII outstanding instructor Dr. Carlos Caldas will teach and share his knowledge and experience at this course.
