Leslie Martinich

Leslie Martinich is a technology leader, focused on economic growth through innovations. In her more than twenty years in the hardware and software industries, she has delivered innovative products and mentored engineering teams at IBM, Compaq, Novell, and emerging software companies. She led successful joint technology development efforts with Sun and Intel, and consulted with numerous companies, including Ameritech, 3M and Hewlett-Packard, on projects in the Americas, Europe and Asia. She is the founder of Competitive Focus, teaches an online MBA-level technology project management course, and provides mentoring and coaching to men and women in the technology industry.

Leslie has a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of California at San Diego, an M.A. in Philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin, an M.S. in Computer Sciences from UT Austin, and certification from the Institute for Managerial Leadership at The University of Texas McCombs School of Business. She is a member of IEEE and the Industrial Advisory Board for the Computer Science Department of Southwest Texas State University. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Samaritan Center for Counseling and Pastoral Care, where she was previously an active member of the Nominations and Selection Committee for the Ethics in Business Award.
