Valerie Hase, Director of Operations, Technology Transfer Licensing, Freescale Semiconductor, Inc.

In her 20 years with Freescale Semiconductor Inc. (formerly Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector), Valerie Hase has driven business results and company direction through market, product and licensing strategies. Valerie is currently director of operations for technology transfer licensing. During a dynamic time in the semiconductor industry's licensing evolution, she owns Freescale's technology transfer licensing strategies, implementation, and business results.

Prior to joining the licensing organization, Valerie held leadership roles in operations, marketing and new product and business development throughout Freescale. An engineer by training, she has extensive leadership experience in taking businesses and products from concept to fruition. As operations manager for the Digital Audio and 8-bit microcontroller businesses, Valerie worked extensively with customers and market leaders to shape product direction. She has also held a variety of leadership management roles including Technology & Manufacturing Strategy & Marketing and Motorola Semiconductor Strategy.

Her wide experience has given Valerie a remarkably deep and broad understanding of the semiconductor industry.
