Dr. Larry Chasteen

Dr. Larry Chasteen is an Assistant Professor of Management at Stephen F Austin University and also teaches in the Executive Education Department at the University of Texas at Dallas. Professor Chasteen received his BSME and MSME from SMU and his ENGR degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Stanford. He was a B-52 pilot during the Viet Nam War and remained in the USAF Reserves as a program manager at Wright Patterson AFB until his retirement in 2001 as a Colonel. His 25 year civilian career was as a program manager in the defense industry for Texas Instruments and Raytheon in the areas of radar and smart weapons. In 2003, he completed his PhD in Management at the University of Texas at Dallas with research interest in Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is a certified Professional Engineer in Texas. chasteen@utdallas.edu
