C. Nils Smith, P.E.

Nils Smith is the Executive Director in the Signal Exploitation and Geolocation Division at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Smith has accumulated significant experience in the design, development, and testing of Electronic Support systems and in the management and development of related projects and programs. He also serves as the division’s Organizational Executive for its CMMI-SE/SW implementation. Mr. Smith is a Senior Member of the IEEE. He has a B.E.E. degree for the Georgia Institute of Technology and a M.S.E. in EE from The University of Texas at Austin.
