Under this catalogue, the Circuit Design master’s degree program is comprised of a total of 33 credit hours resulting from eight semester-long courses (24 credits), two independent study courses held during the summer semester (6 credits,) and a Master’s Report (3 credits). Students are required to complete a master’s report the final semester in which they are enrolled.
Effective Fall 2008, the name of the Circuit Design program will be changed to Integrated Circuits and Systems.
Students entering the Integrated Circuits and Systems degree program January 2009 or later are subject to the following degree regulations: The program is comprised of a total of 30 credit hours resulting from eight semester-long courses (24 credits), one summer course (3 credits,) and a Master’s Report (3 credits). The final semester enrolled, students are required to complete a Master’s Report.
Non-Degree Seeking Students
A non-degree seeking student can apply for enrollment in a selected course of the Advanced Manufacturing, Integrated Circuits and Systems, Engineering Management, or Software Engineering Master’s Degree Programs. Non-degree seeking students must complete an application, supporting materials and submit them to the Center for Lifelong Engineering Education office. Materials are reviewed by the Application Committee in their respective programs. After the file is reviewed, a recommendation for admission is made to the graduate school.
