Dr. Michael Webber

Dr. Michael Webber earned his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Stanford University in 2001. He joined the faculty of The University of Texas at Austin in 2006, where he is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering; the Associate Director of the Center for International Energy and Environmental Policy, which seeks to inform the energy and environmental policy-making process with scientific and engineering expertise; and co-Director of the Clean Energy Incubator. He holds 4 patents, has published more than 40 peer-reviewed journal papers, and serves on the Board of Advisors for Scientific American.
