Fall 2005 commencement ceremonies honor graduates of UT Austin's Option III Engineering Master's Degree Programs

AUSTIN, Texas-On Friday, December 9, 2005, the Option III Engineering Master's Programs hosted its annual Fall Graduation Banquet. Sixty-eight graduates from the Option III Circuit Design, Engineering Management, and Software Engineering Master's Degree Programs were all honored at the occasion which was attended by program faculty, family, and friends.

The Graduation Banquet marked a milestone for the Circuit Design program which graduated its first class. Started in 2004, the Circuit Design Program has welcomed a total of 46 students into the program. Friday's event saw 23 of those students receive their diplomas.

"By obtaining your master's degree it will take you to the next step .to further enhance your career goals," said Dr. Tony Ambler, Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, "What a wonderful achievement!"

In honor of graduating students receiving their degrees at fall commencement ceremonies, the university's Tower was light orange with "05" displayed on all sides of building windows Dec 9-11
